Do you offer trial classes?

Yes we do! Please reach out to us if you are interested in trying one of our classes.

Should you wish to join our program after your first class, this class is then reflected on your fees.

 

How long is a session at HYPE?

Each session is 10 weeks long.

 

Where is HYPE located?

We are located in the beautiful Kincardine, Ontario. We hold our classes in multiple locations around Kincardine.

 

How much does a session cost at HYPE?

As of 2024, our class fees are as follows:

• • • 30 minute class = $115 per 10 week term
    • 45 minute class = $125 per 10 week term
    • 60 minute class = $130 per 10 week term OR $15 drop in
    • AM Drop In Classes = $10 per class 

All students will also need to purchase their class uniform.

Uniform fees vary from $20 - $50 depending on the class your child is registered in.

Do you offer make up classes?

If your child is unable to attend class due to illness, your child is welcome to

attend a make up class of similar age & style.

 

*Please note we do not offer refunds or credits for any classes missed due to holidays or sickness.

 

Does HYPE take photos/videos of my child?

Our lovely staff are the only people allowed to take photos of our students during class, subject to professional

photographers. Photos taken in class may be used for advertising and also used for staff training and lesson

preparation.

At time of registration, there will be Photo & Video Release Waiver you will need to sign.

If you wish for your child not to be shown on our social media sites please email us and let us know.

 

What should my child wear to class?

Our afternoon classes have a specific uniform for our dancers.

Our uniforms have been designed with comfort and budgets in mind!

Do students perform in a recital at the end of the year?

Our students perform in an Open Day Showcase at the end of our Fall session. This is a casual day where families

come and watch our students perform short dances that they have worked all session on! Students wear their

class uniforms for the performance.

There is no cost for participation in this Open Day Showcase. We encourage families to give a donation which

goes to a local charity in lieu of an entrance fee.

Our Spring session concludes with our End of Year Recital. This is a highlight of our calendar year and held at the

Kincardine Theatre for the Arts. Participation in this recital will incur some extra costs, however participation is not

mandatory. This special recital day allows our students the chance to shine up on stage, in costume, and share

their passion for dance with their families.

We do our Recitals a little differently at HYPE and require ZERO makeup & age appropriate costumes.

We want our dancers to share their natural beauty up on stage and have the most fun performing! Dancers are

given the opportunity to participate in a professional dance photoshoot, and a professional video is taken of the

recital each year. 

 

Can I watch my child's class?

We prefer, if possible, that if your child is happy and comfortable in the studio that you don't watch your child's

class from inside the studio. We understand that a solo activity may be a transition for our dancers, and we will

happily work with you and your dancer to reach this goal!

For our younger dancers, we encourage them to bring a loved stuffy to class to help make them feel comfortable.
