Miss Mikayla has been passionate about dance her entire life. She began dancing at the age of two and danced at a competitive level for over eleven years. She has trained in many styles such as jazz, ballet, contemporary, lyrical and acro. Throughout her years of dance she received many special awards and scholarships as well as attended many dance workshops and conventions. She is also a trained gymnastics coach with NCCP. Miss Mikayla also enjoys musical theatre and has performed in numerous musical productions such as Frozen and Beauty and the Beast. She recently was accepted into the DEYA Triple Threat Intensive in Waterloo.
What she loves most about teaching at Hype is seeing the students smiling faces and watching them grow into confident, unique dancers.
